LOW COUNTRY RESIDENCE
A classically detailed new home built among the live oaks and alligators of the Low Country. The home features a two-story 'shotgun' style main living portion with a separate Great Room pavilion. The two elements are linked by a vaulted entry vestibule. The Great Room is all glass on three sides. The vaulted ceiling features exposed turn buckle tie rods and HVAC discretely integrated into the cornice. The wood trellis provides a link from the garage to the main house. The walkways are tabby (a concrete made from local lime sand and oyster shells) with Savannah grey brick borders. The back of the main house features screened sleeping and eating porches with views to the Low Country tidal marshes (and plenty of wild life between).
